Description

You will provide physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist in a home health setting, treating elderly patients to relieve pain and restore function. This PRN role involves traveling locally in the greater Tipp City area to deliver personalized care as part of a mission-focused ministry.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited physical therapy assistant program with associate degree in science or applied science approved by APTA
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in accordance with Ohio law
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as Physical Therapy Assistant, home health preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy treatments per physician plan of care
• Direct and aid patients in therapeutic exercises, gait training, and prosthetic training
• Utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
• Observe and report patient reactions and changes to physical therapist
• Maintain clinical notes and records within prescribed timeframes
