Description

You will lead and mentor a squad of engineers, fostering a high-performance culture and guiding technical delivery. You'll balance people management with hands-on coding, code reviews, and architecture decisions, ensuring strong stakeholder connections through demos and retros.

Requirements

• Proven technical experience in a Senior or Staff Software Development role
• Experience in technical leadership delivering solutions to complex problems, including architecting solutions and managing delivery
• Significant experience working on major systems in one or more languages, ideally SaaS products
• Experience navigating organisational changes or rolling out new processes

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers, including hiring and training
• Help team deliver code using continuous delivery and maintain strong stakeholder connection via demos, retros, blameless incident reviews
• Lead by example: write code, conduct code reviews, fix bugs, and provide technical advice
• Evaluate performance of technical architecture and adopt industry trends
