You'll lead strategic vehicle recovery operations for Waymo's autonomous fleet across high-density markets on the East Coast. Your core impact will be designing safety protocols for high-voltage EV recovery and coordinating with law enforcement, first responders, and third-party vendors to standardize incident response. This role stands out for its high-stakes logistics in the autonomous vehicle industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design operational framework for on-road vehicle recovery across markets
• Act as primary escalation point for complex recovery scenarios
• Partner with Depot Operations to manage logistics of disabled vehicles
• Coordinate with law enforcement, first responders, and municipal DOTs
• Manage relationships with third-party recovery partners and enforce SLAs

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in fleet/logistics leadership
• HV EV safety fluency including high-voltage shutdown procedures
• Vendor management experience with complex SLAs
• Multi-market coordination across geographies in 24/7 environment

• AV industry experience with autonomous vehicle recovery
• First responder training or emergency management background
