💼 About This Role

You'll own and mature Sentry's security review program, working across application and platform security domains. You'll partner with engineering teams to embed security early in the development lifecycle and influence vulnerability management practices. This role offers autonomy on a small, high-trust team securing a product millions of developers rely on.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and mature Sentry's security review program
• Influence vulnerability management practices
• Champion secure-by-design principles with engineering teams
• Validate and reproduce application and infrastructure security findings
• Evaluate and respond to emerging threats

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience designing, building, securing complex applications and cloud systems
• Direct experience with security reviews, SDLC practices, and threat modeling
• Comfortable reviewing Python, Typescript, Go, Rust applications
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud security technologies

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with bug bounty and responsible disclosure programs
• Knowledge of agentic architecture security
