Description

You will eliminate infrastructure friction at Coupang by building automated cloud solutions, including AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, service mesh, and self-service platforms, enabling developers to ship faster.

Requirements

• 4+ years of AWS experience with EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, Load Balancers
• Service Mesh experience with Istio, Envoy, or similar
• 7+ years of Kubernetes experience including custom controller and operator development
• Container orchestration expertise with Docker, containerd, and Kubernetes networking
• GitOps experience with ArgoCD, Flux, or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom AWS Controllers for Kubernetes
• Design and implement service mesh solutions for traffic management, security, and observability
• Automate EKS cluster provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management
• Create self-service interfaces and Kubernetes-native platforms for developers
• Build CLI tools, kubectl plugins, and web interfaces
