You'll be a front-line technical expert for customers using DroneDeploy's drone and mapping tools, resolving issues from intake to resolution. Your work keeps customers productive on high-stakes projects and feeds real customer signals back into the platform. This role offers rare, in-demand expertise at the intersection of drones and geospatial data.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Resolve customer tickets via email, chat, and phone in Zendesk, meeting SLAs.
- Diagnose issues across flight planning, capture, uploads, processing, and visualization.
- Spot recurring themes and escalate clearly with summaries and reproduction steps.
- Write and update customer-facing help content and internal runbooks.
๐ Requirements
- At least one year as a commercial drone pilot or degree/certificate in GIS/Geomatics.
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and structured thinking.
- Proven ability to manage a ticket queue with prioritization and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, turning technical details into clear guidance.
โจ Nice to Have
- Experience in construction, surveying, agriculture, energy, or facilities.
- Familiarity with APIs/SSO/SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk.
- Fluency in another language (Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese).
