💼 About This Role

You'll join a commercial builder's estimating team, owning quantity takeoffs for commercial projects in Sydney and Newcastle. Your work will free senior estimators to focus on pricing, directly impacting tender submissions. The role supports building out an offshore team in the Philippines.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings.
• Produce accurate bills of quantities for commercial projects.
• Input quantities into Cubit or Costx and maintain workbooks.
• Liaise with Estimating Manager and senior estimators on scope and risks.

📋 Requirements

• 4-5 years QS or estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings independently.
• Competent in Cubit or Costx (or both).
• Experience quantifying structural trades (concrete, steel, etc.).

✨ Nice to Have

• Full end-to-end estimating capability (takeoff to rated tender price).
• Familiarity with Australian, New Zealand, or UK construction standards.
• Experience working with a commercial head contractor.
