💼 About This Role

You'll join Vast to execute hot-fire testing for development and qualification of in-house thrusters and vehicle-level chemical propulsion systems. You'll lead hazardous operations including high-pressure fluids and combustion device testing. This role offers the chance to work on next-generation space stations at a pioneering company.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Execute hot-fire testing for thruster and propulsion system development.
  • Lead hazardous operations with high-pressure fluids and combustion devices.
  • Write test procedures for hazardous operations.
  • Prepare and lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
  • Maintain and design modifications to test stand fluids and electrical systems.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in chemical propulsion and/or fluid systems or hardware testing.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience with NX and Teamcenter.
  • Experience with JIRA / Confluence.
  • Experience with controls data acquisition systems (e.g., Beckhoff/TwinCAT, LabVIEW).
