Description

You will be the expert practitioner of Anduril's internal extensibility framework, developing the primary Sand Table plugin to build a powerful modding capability for mission-critical simulation software. You'll architect and develop core plugins using low-level C++ and high-level TypeScript, collaborating closely with artists, designers, and systems engineers.

Requirements

• Professional experience in game engine development or real-time 3D simulation
• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience in large, performance-critical codebases
• Solid experience with TypeScript for scripting, tooling, or application development
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists and engineers
• Eligible to obtain and maintain active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop core Sand Table plugin using Carbon extensibility framework in C++ and TypeScript
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and systems engineers to extend Sand Table capabilities
• Become subject matter expert on Carbon extensibility layer, create robust APIs for other teams
• Analyze engine's C++ foundation to identify extension points and ensure performant plugin code
• Diagnose and solve complex technical challenges at intersection of engine, scripting, and artistic workflows
