💼 About This Role

You'll be an integral part of the entire product design lifecycle for self-driving vehicles, supporting testing and evaluation of sensors like cameras, radars, and lidars. Your work will directly impact the requirements, design, integration, and validation of our autonomous systems, focusing on developing hardware for harsh vehicle environments. You'll own designs from component to fully integrated vehicle level.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support mechanical engineering development of Applied Vehicles.
• Contribute to mechanical design of sensor suite, compute assembly, and interior.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis of mechanical designs.
• Design scalable and manufacturable components at all levels.

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluency in English and Japanese (written and verbal).
• 2+ years of experience designing hardware and shipping products.
• Experience with FEA/CAE.

✨ Nice to Have

• NVH experience.
• Experience with AV components like lidars, radars, cameras.
• Proficiency in CAD (Solidworks Preferred).
