Description

You will design and implement corporate office network infrastructure from the ground up, establishing standards, automation, and documentation as the company scales. This hands-on role requires regular on-site presence in Portland and involves owning wired and wireless networks across multiple facilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience designing and operating enterprise IP networks, focus on corporate/office environments.
• Proficiency with firewall management, routing protocols, VLANs, and layer 2/3 switching.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networks at scale.
• Experience with network configuration automation and scripting.
• Understanding of physical network infrastructure including structured cabling and IDF/MDF design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement corporate office network infrastructure (wired and wireless) across Portland campus and future locations.
• Establish network standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for scalability.
• Build and maintain high-performance wireless networks supporting dense user environments and lab equipment.
• Develop automation tools and monitoring solutions for network reliability.
• Manage vendor relationships, circuit procurement, and equipment lifecycle planning.
