Description

You will develop thin-film microelectrode arrays for Neuralink's brain-computer interfaces, working in a cleanroom to design, fabricate, and characterize devices. You'll drive design improvements through data analysis and collaborate with external vendors, contributing to preclinical and clinical studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physical science
  • 3+ years of academic or industry experience with microfabrication technology
  • Experience in experimental design, data collection, analysis, and scientific communication
  • Comfortable working with hazardous substances and sensitive electronic devices
  • Experience with analytic and microfabrication process equipment

Responsibilities

  • Design and physically realize next-generation thin-film microelectrode arrays
  • Develop and deploy advanced process integration schemes for thin-film fabrication
  • Execute benchtop experiments to characterize fabrication parameters and product performance
  • Utilize statistical analysis on experimental data for data-informed product improvement
  • Author comprehensive SOPs and technical documentation
