Description

You will perform month-end accounting processes, own statutory financial statement preparation and audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP. This role involves scaling financial processes through automation and standardization to support Stripe's global growth.

Requirements

• Accountancy qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in month-end close, journal preparation, audit, and accounting systems
• Working knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge
• Experience with internal controls and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Own statutory financial statement preparation, audit, and board sign-off
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP with local service providers
• Develop and improve controllership processes with cross-functional partners
• Scale financial processes through automation and standardization
