Description

As a Senior Guidance Software Engineer at CHAOS Industries, you will lead the design of guidance software for a clean sheet airframe, working on-site in Los Angeles. You'll implement guidance and navigation software within COTS frameworks, support airframe design, and integrate software on flight hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, Aerospace, or related field
• 10+ years of professional OOP experience
• Experience with guidance algorithms for UAS using commercial autopilot frameworks (e.g., ArduPilot)
• Understanding of fixed wing and rotary wing flight dynamics
• Experience with microcontroller architectures (STM32) and Linux on Nvidia Jetson, AMD/Xilinx SoC or Microblaze
• Experience with real-time embedded software and hardware interfaces
• Experience with Agile lifecycle (Scrum, CI, TDD)
• U.S. Person status required
