Description

You will perform and direct complex design of HVAC systems for large-scale buildings, working under project leadership on new construction and renovation projects in education, healthcare, corporate, and science/technology sectors. This role involves mentoring less experienced staff, overseeing Revit/BIM modeling, and liaising with clients and design teams. You'll contribute to quality assurance, value engineering, and construction administration to deliver high-quality, coordinated project outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of related experience
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S.
• Experience with Revit and Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct complex design of ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for HVAC systems
• Oversee, guide, and mentor less experienced engineering staff
• Prepare Revit/BIM models of HVAC systems from schematic design through construction administration
• Specify mechanical equipment and review shop drawings for compliance
• Interface with clients and attend Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings with focus on project budget
