Description

You will handle criminal defense cases at all stages, from legal research and drafting motions to appearing in court for hearings and trials. Work directly with clients, manage a caseload, and collaborate with a supportive team to fight for the best outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 3+ years of Criminal Defense experience
• Active member of the Alabama State Bar
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal cases at all stages of litigation
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other documents
• Assist with case strategy, trial preparation, and negotiations
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
