💼 About This Role

You'll lead and expand Red 6's electrical engineering team in Denver, overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical hardware for next-generation augmented reality systems. Your work will directly enable pilots to train in dynamic outdoor environments using synthetic air combat technology. This role combines deep technical oversight with strategic leadership in a fast-paced aerospace startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and execute electrical engineering strategy aligned with product roadmaps.
• Lead schematic design, PCB layout, bring-up, and environmental qualification.
• Drive close co-design between electrical and mechanical teams for product integration.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to transition designs to production.

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in electrical hardware design.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Expertise in high-speed digital and mixed-signal design (FPGA/SoC, DDR, PCIe, Ethernet).
• U.S. Citizenship required to obtain security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in augmented reality, avionics, or airborne embedded systems.
• Proficiency with Altium, Zuken E3, or CATIA Electrical.
