You will ensure sustainable procedures are followed at our facility by monitoring compliance, classifying waste, and coordinating donations to support our mission of empowering chefs and nourishing the world.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily facility walks to ensure sustainable procedures are followed
• Classify, weigh, and dispose of food waste (donations/compost/garbage/family meals)
• Complete daily audit bin form to detect contamination
• Coordinate donation pickups with nonprofit organizations
• Provide feedback to staff to promote sustainable behavior
