Description

You will design and develop full factory solutions for consumer electronics at high rates, leading multidisciplinary projects in machine design, robotics, and motion systems to deliver innovative manufacturing capabilities for Starlink.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or science
• Experience with CAD and FEA software
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing (internship applicable)
• Proficient in 3D CAD and PLM, preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Exposure to motion systems, robotics, and production machinery

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage factory design projects from ideation through machine ownership and hand-off
• Develop design criteria and drive system-level optimization for in-house machines focusing on speed, reliability, and safety
• Refine production systems for high-rate, high-yield processes
• Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and other equipment
• Create schedules and budgets, and motivate the team to achieve them
