Description

You will lead the architecture and implementation of a scalable AI/ML platform at Opendoor, focusing on building infrastructure for feature engineering, large-scale data pipelines, and seamless integration of ML capabilities into production systems. This role is critical for transitioning to AI-powered pricing models and driving business outcomes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a technical leader (Staff/Senior Staff level) in large-scale production software and data environments
• Proven track record of designing and implementing ML/Data Platforms or Feature Stores supporting production AI/ML models
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale data processing
• Strong background in data infrastructure and API design for ML consumption
• Experience in a domain where AI/ML is critical to core business

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of AI/ML feature platform with focus on scalability and performance
• Design and build large-scale data pipelines for generating and versioning AI-derived features from imagery and video
• Ensure seamless integration of ML capabilities into production, setting standards for real-time AI consumption
• Partner with Data Science, Product, and Operations to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Serve as technical mentor and set technical direction for the AI/ML platform group
