💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Realtime Data Platform team building foundational data and AI infrastructure for a global fintech. You'll define the multi-year technical roadmap to evolve the ecosystem into an AI agent-ready infrastructure. You'll scale engineering teams, mentor managers, and partner with product to enable data-driven features.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define 1-3 year strategic roadmap for Realtime Data Platform.
• Lead modernization of core data platform for real-time petabyte-scale analytics.
• Partner with product teams to enable AI-powered features and real-time dashboards.
• Scale and structure engineering teams through hiring and mentoring.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in data or software engineering.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience managing and scaling an engineering team of 10+ including managers and senior ICs.
• Deep understanding of distributed data processing (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks) and event streaming (e.g., Kafka).

• Experience in the financial domain.
• Hands-on design experience with modern Lakehouse architecture.
• Ability to evaluate technologies and conduct proof of concepts.
