💼 About This Role

You'll own the physical security program across Anthropic's NA data center footprint, spanning owned sites and colocation partners. You'll partner with build and operations teams from design through steady-state, shaping security for high-consequence AI compute. This role is hands-on and strategic, requiring on-site presence and policy authorship.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own NA data center security operations program across owned and colocation sites
• Partner with build and engineering teams on new-site design and activation
• Lead regional vendor portfolio including integrators, guard-force providers, and general contractors
• Author and maintain policies, standards, and SOPs for physical security
• Lead physical security incident response and investigations

📋 Requirements

• Extensive experience operating physical security at hyperscale or major colocation operator
• Led security scope on new-build data center projects from design through turnover
• Experience across owned data centers and colocation space
• Ability to author physical security policies and standards that get adopted

✨ Nice to Have

• CPP or PSP certification
• Experience standing up a data center security function from 0→1
• Background in regulated environment, critical infrastructure, or financial services
