💼 About This Role

You'll lead the technical decomposition of complex customer requirements into scalable factory cell designs for sand and investment casting. Core impact: owning cycle-time models, process flows, and equipment scoping. This role is at Hadrian, building autonomous factories for aerospace and defense.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze BOMs, CAD models, and drawings to classify casting parts
• Develop first-principles cycle-time models using simulation data
• Design end-to-end casting process flows including melt and post-processing
• Translate scoping into capital and operational requirements for factory implementation

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in process engineering for sand or investment casting
• Proficiency with casting simulation tools like MAGMASOFT or ProCAST
• Strong understanding of quality systems including PFMEAs and control plans
• Familiarity with sand testing methods (GFN, permeability, moisture, compactability)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing greenfield manufacturing cells or lab infrastructure
• Knowledge of aerospace casting standards (NADCAP, ASTM)
• Exposure to regulated manufacturing frameworks (PPAP, EVMS)
