Description

You'll lead the rewrite of high-traffic surfaces (Search Results and Details pages) in a Next.js App Router codebase, defining reusable patterns and improving Core Web Vitals, SEO, and conversion. As a technical anchor, you'll mentor junior engineers and drive frontend standards across the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years building production web applications
• Deep React expertise and commanding modern frontend architecture (Next.js SSR/SPA hybrids)
• Proven experience leading rewrites or major migrations of high-traffic surfaces with measurable results
• Strong technical judgment and ability to lead ambiguous projects from scoping through rollout
• High engineering bar with testing discipline, observability mindset, and maintainable code

Responsibilities

• Own major initiatives across high-traffic surfaces (SRP and DLP) with goals for Core Web Vitals, SEO, and conversion
• Lead technical design for large changes (RFCs/design docs) and drive alignment with Product/Design
• Define and implement reusable patterns in Next.js App Router (routing, caching, component architecture, error handling, analytics)
• Raise quality bar through standards, reviews, and mentorship
• Improve developer velocity with testing (Playwright), observability (Datadog), and CI hygiene
