Description

You will be involved in metal 3D printing operations, setting up print jobs, handling metal powders, part post processing, testing, and performing routine maintenance. This role is crucial for setting up and maintaining print operations at the new Hyliion facility, working with engineering teams to fabricate metal parts for Karno production.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum 5 years hands-on work experience
• 3 years additive manufacturing experience (LPBF preferred: GE Concept Laser, EOS, SLM)
• CNC machine and/or EDM experience
• Self-motivated with strong mechanical intuition and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal powder bed fusion 3D printers
• Perform downstream processes: powder evacuation, support removal, pressure vessel leak testing
• Prepare jobs for outsource vendor operations
• Contribute to print process improvements and innovation
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
