Description

You will design, plan, and implement outside plant projects for copper and fiber networks, including engineering design, permitting, field coordination, and construction support to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Experience with copper and fiber OSP projects
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Proficiency with CAD (FROGS), Varasset, and SiteTracker tools
• Ability to travel for field coordination

Responsibilities

• Design and plan outside plant facilities for copper and fiber infrastructure
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and conduct job inspections for quality assurance
• Prepare, organize, and submit permit packages to relevant agencies
• Coordinate with municipal officials and other utilities to minimize conflicts and avoid project delays
