Description

You will lead business development for CHAOS Industries' R&D-focused sales to DoD and government labs. You'll identify opportunities, shape capture strategies, and drive proposals from initial engagement through award, partnering with engineering teams to align products with customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. Government acquisition process, including FAR and non-traditional pathways
• Experience supporting Federal R&D proposals/white papers with demonstrated success in capturing low TRL awards
• Experience building trust with technical and operational stakeholders and driving aligned internal execution
• Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and strategic judgment; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Monitor R&D solicitation channels and build a qualified pipeline of opportunities with DoD labs and innovation organizations
• Develop capture plans at strategic and tactical levels aligned with business priorities
• Lead content development for abstracts, white papers, and proposals, translating technical approaches into compelling narratives
• Coordinate internal and external contributors to deliver high-quality submissions on time
• Support early demonstrations and customer touchpoints to validate concepts and strengthen transition
