You'll shape the foundation of database reliability and scalability across a fast-growing fintech platform. This hands-on engineering role focuses on automation and developer enablement at scale. You'll collaborate with backend, infrastructure, and security teams to define how services interact with relational databases.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain shared database platform components and tooling.
• Define and enforce best practices for schema design, indexing, and migrations.
• Automate database reliability tasks and developer self-service tools.
• Build observability systems with dashboards, alerts, and SLOs.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in software, database, infrastructure, or platform/SRE engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Deep hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL in high-scale production.
• Experience with AWS RDS/Aurora including provisioning, scaling, and failover.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with database connection managers like RDS Proxy, PgBouncer.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of observability practices including metrics and tracing.
