Description

You will join the Data Development group to manage the lifecycle of data used for trading, backtesting, and research. Working with quants and tech teams, you'll design and maintain service-oriented database architecture in kdb+, ensuring robust, scalable, and highly available reference data services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject
• 2+ years development experience with kdb+/q
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, optimize and troubleshoot kdb+/q data pipelines, frameworks and services
• Work with data operations and platform developers to improve the data platform and reduce technical debt
• Collaborate with technologists and investment researchers to meet evolving reference data service requirements
• Act as level 2+ support for reference data services during live trading
• Write and review technical documents, including requirements docs, design docs, and production support runbooks
