Description

You will support methane liquefaction infrastructure build and natural gas pipeline design projects at SpaceX. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering
• 3+ years experience in LNG processing, cryogenics, or natural gas industry
• Strong understanding of cryogenic thermodynamics, heat exchangers, compressors, and expanders
• Experience with process simulation tools like Aspen, HYSYS, or ProMax
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards for LNG and pipeline design

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and project management for methane liquefaction systems and natural gas pipeline installations
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders on technical decisions
• Manage relationships with third-party contractors and vendors for core equipment
• Oversee project execution from concept to commissioning
• Apply process fundamentals to optimize design and evaluate contractor proposals
