You'll serve as the technical anchor bridging our Silicon Valley HQ with Japan's industrial hub, leading discovery and incorporating 'Silicon Valley' speed for automotive autonomy. You'll own customer engagements and define technical solutions for strategic deals. This role offers a direct growth path to Chief Engineer.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Engage with potential customers identified by Japan-based Account Managers
  • Use customer discovery to understand requirements and propose solutions
  • Host workshops and organize tailored demonstrations
  • Develop final customer solution with Product and Engineering teams
  • Iterate on technical scope and business model with customer

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in automotive
  • Proven ability to work across stakeholders on complex projects
  • Strong interest in working with customers and driving engagements
  • Experience with automotive software technologies

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience working on a product at a startup from Series A to IPO
  • Professional fluency in Japanese (written and spoken)
