💼 About This Role

You'll build and maintain mobile experiences for Verkada's Alarms product, which detects and responds to security threats using sensors, cameras, and AI. You'll work on real-time monitoring and incident response across iOS and Android, collaborating with a small, fast-moving team. This role also includes contributing to embedded Linux UIs for hardware products.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain features across iOS and Android for Alarms.
• Develop real-time user experiences for alerts and system status.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and firmware teams.
• Contribute to embedded Linux UI development for hardware products.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and performance.
• Must work onsite five days per week.

• Experience building embedded Linux UIs (e.g., Qt or similar).
• Exposure to hardware-integrated products or IoT systems.
