💼 About This Role
You'll join a research and consulting team providing support to federal, state, and commercial clients. You'll take ownership of complex projects, lead technical direction, and contribute to impactful environmental and combustion research.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, design, and operate advanced combustion systems.
- Configure sampling equipment and collect emissions data per EPA methods.
- Design and implement sampling systems including continuous emissions monitoring.
- Analyze data to ensure alignment with project quality objectives.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 2-10 years experience in a research or testing environment with combustion systems.
- Demonstrated experience implementing safety protocols and authoring guidance.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and operate complex systems.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience applying EPA air emissions methodologies.
- Ability to write technical documentation such as safety plans and procedures.
- Proficiency with data acquisition systems and PLC programming.
