💼 About This Role

You'll join a research and consulting team providing support to federal, state, and commercial clients. You'll take ownership of complex projects, lead technical direction, and contribute to impactful environmental and combustion research.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, design, and operate advanced combustion systems.
  • Configure sampling equipment and collect emissions data per EPA methods.
  • Design and implement sampling systems including continuous emissions monitoring.
  • Analyze data to ensure alignment with project quality objectives.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-10 years experience in a research or testing environment with combustion systems.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing safety protocols and authoring guidance.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and operate complex systems.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience applying EPA air emissions methodologies.
  • Ability to write technical documentation such as safety plans and procedures.
  • Proficiency with data acquisition systems and PLC programming.
