💼 About This Role

You'll lead field execution and maintenance of mitigation bank and ecological restoration projects in Florida. Your work will directly improve biodiversity, water quality, and climate resilience while operating heavy machinery and conducting prescribed burns. This role offers tangible impact and hands-on outdoor experience.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead field crews in planting, seeding, and erosion control
  • Operate trucks, UTVs, skid steers, chainsaws, and backpack sprayers
  • Conduct herbicide treatments and invasive species removal
  • Participate in prescribed burns and safety meetings

📋 Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of field experience in ecological restoration
  • Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain)
  • Proficiency with GPS mapping tools and field equipment

✨ Nice to Have

  • S130/S190 prescribed fire certifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Experience leading field crews and training others
