💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and development of automated manufacturing systems for Starship and Starshield hardware at SpaceX. Your work will directly impact high-rate production ramps. You'll join a highly talented interdisciplinary team solving some of the most difficult manufacturing challenges in the industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design and development of automated manufacturing and test systems from concept to production
• Design motion control and robotic systems for manufacturing and test needs
• Write and maintain machine automation software
• Develop UI/HMI for machine operation and troubleshooting
• Design electrical and pneumatic systems for manufacturing environments

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science or other engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in industrial or factory automation design and implementation
• 1+ years of experience in designing and building electro-mechanical/robotic/automated systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with industrial robotic systems (Kuka, ABB, or Fanuc)
• Experience with PLC programming in Beckhoff TwinCat 3 or Siemens TIA Portal
• Experience with Python, C#, C++, or similar high-level languages
