Description

As the Director, Head of Programming, you will shape Frndly TV's content strategy to drive subscriber growth, engagement, and monetization. You'll own programming from market analysis through deal negotiation and execution, collaborate cross-functionally, and use data to inform decisions.

Requirements

• 12+ years in programming strategy, content acquisition, or related roles in streaming, vMVPD, cable, or entertainment
• Proven ability to develop content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
• Strong understanding of pay TV, vMVPD, and streaming landscape
• Experience negotiating and closing content licensing agreements
• Data-driven with ability to translate audience insights into actionable decisions

Responsibilities

• Own Frndly TV’s programming strategy from market analysis through partner negotiations and deal execution
• Identify content gaps and evaluate new programming opportunities to support subscriber growth and retention
• Leverage viewership data to inform licensing decisions and optimize content performance
• Build and maintain relationships with content partners; serve as primary point of contact for content providers
• Manage programming budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against KPIs
