You'll own end-to-end hardware design for UAV systems, from prototyping through flight-ready builds. Your work directly advances democratic societies with cutting-edge AI solutions. You'll integrate mechanical, electronic, and sensor subsystems into cohesive drone architectures.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end hardware design of UAV systems from prototyping to flight-ready builds
  • Integrate mechanical, electronic, and sensor subsystems into manufacturable drone architectures
  • Develop and iterate physical prototypes balancing performance, weight, and durability
  • Define and execute hardware validation and flight-readiness testing campaigns

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Hands-on experience designing and building UAV or complex autonomous hardware systems
  • Comfortable working across both mechanical and electronic domains
  • Strong prototyping mindset with experience taking hardware from concept to flying article
  • Proficient with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX) and electronics design tools (e.g. Altium)

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience with COTS component evaluation and supplier management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
