Description

You'll develop real-time software that determines optimal beam configurations for Starlink's satellite network, ensuring the best possible user experience. You'll own the full lifecycle of your software, from design to deployment and performance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or science (or 2+ years professional software development experience in lieu of degree)
• Development experience in assembly, C, or C++
• Knowledge of real-time rendering, game engine development, physics simulation, or similar high-performance computing
• Experience with network topology, numerical optimization, graph theory, or convex optimization
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time software for beam formation decisions (user, laser, gateway) to optimize user experience
• Lead and participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
• Build prototypes and manage experiments to validate design concepts
• Create tools for development, deployment, data analysis, and test execution across multiple environments
