Description

As a seasoned expert in Perception Capabilities, you will lead the development of solutions spanning perception components and interface with downstream modules in the autonomy system. You will analyze performance, document hazards, and collaborate on innovative solutions for self-driving vehicles. Your work directly impacts the product in a safety-critical, open-world application.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, CS, Robotics, or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership in large, complex technical initiatives
• Broad understanding of Deep Learning algorithms and architectures
• Experience designing, training, and analyzing neural networks for perception
• Fluency in Python and deep learning libraries like PyTorch

Responsibilities

• Lead development of perception solutions interfacing with downstream modules
• Analyze perception subsystem performance and identify limitations
• Document hazards and lead cross-team mitigation efforts
• Collaborate on long-tail challenges like synthetic data generation and language embeddings
• Optimize and deploy models to vehicle hardware within constraints
