You will lead a team of Strategic Account Executives for Braze's Customer Journey Orchestration platform, focusing on the retail and consumer goods vertical. Your role involves developing go-to-market strategies, driving customer acquisition and expansion, and coaching your team to success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years leading a team of at least 5 quota-carrying Strategic Account Executives
  • Proven ability to recruit, retain, inspire, and develop top talent
  • Experience leading full-lifecycle SaaS customer relationships
  • Demonstrated success developing vertical go-to-market strategies for retail/consumer brands
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills; strong commercial and legal negotiation skills

  • Hire, nurture, and lead a team of world-class sales talent
  • Set and execute aggressive customer acquisition and expansion strategy for the region
  • Lead verticalization strategy for retail and consumer goods, developing sales playbooks
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success for go-to-market motion
  • Coach team through sales process, participate in deals, and provide accurate sales forecasting
