Description

You will lead the team responsible for how Unity runs on mobile, console, desktop, and web, balancing long-term strategic bets with technical execution to support a global hardware ecosystem. You'll drive platform strategy, negotiate with hardware partners, and ensure the engine is prepared for next-generation hardware and AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years proven experience leading product strategy and shipping complex, highly technical products
• Technical depth to engage with architects and engineers on APIs, rendering pipelines, and hardware abstraction
• Experience managing high-stakes relationships with external partners and influencing internal stakeholders
• Track record of untangling complex dependencies to ship products
• Strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly Generative AI and content creation
• Exceptional communication skills to distill technical roadmaps into compelling narratives

Responsibilities

• Drive platform strategy and own the roadmap for Unity's platform support
• Lead by example as a hands-on practitioner, authoring strategy documents and diving into technical specifications
• Negotiate platform deals with hardware partners alongside Business Development
• Manage foundational dependencies across product and engineering organizations
• Partner with R&D teams to define AI-driven authoring and tooling evolution
• Represent Unity's platform vision at industry conferences and to global partners
• Manage and mentor a team of Technical PMs
