💼 About This Role

You'll work directly with strategic startup customers to understand critical workflows and identify high-impact opportunities for improvement. You'll prototype and iterate on prompts, agents, and workflow designs, then synthesize feedback to improve OpenAI's products and models. This role combines hands-on technical depth with strong product judgment and includes presenting to developer and startup audiences.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Work with strategic startups to uncover failure modes and improvement opportunities.
• Prototype and iterate on prompts, agents, and workflow designs.
• Synthesize feedback into reproducible evals and technical artifacts.
• Build relationships and present at community events.
• Create technical presentations and demos for top developers.

📋 Requirements

• Software engineering and AI fundamentals.
• Experience shipping production systems end-to-end.
• Experience building AI applications, agents, or evaluation systems.
• Strong proficiency in English.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with model training pipelines and reinforcement learning.
• Additional proficiency in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese.
