💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a key subject matter expert on accounting policy, financial reporting, and internal controls for the Wikimedia Foundation. You'll lead key components of the annual financial statement audit and Form 990 preparation. This role offers the opportunity to work on open-source impact and global free knowledge.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve accounting and financial governance policies.
• Lead key components of annual financial audits and audit support.
• Support preparation of Form 990, including data gathering and review.
• Research and document conclusions on new accounting standards.

📋 Requirements

• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and nonprofit accounting.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls.
