Description

As a US Bookkeeping Advisor, you will serve as a trusted guide for small business bookkeeping, balancing expert bookkeeping work with meaningful client relationships. You'll oversee month-end reconciliation, review financial statements, and help small business owners understand their financial health through proactive communication and support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of US bookkeeping/accounting experience with SMB accounting methods
• Experience in consolidation and preparation of financial statements, month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, A/P and A/R
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent certification (e.g., QBO ProAdvisor)
• 1+ year of experience leading or mentoring others
• Experience providing bookkeeping guidance directly to clients

Responsibilities

• Ensure world-class service for a portfolio of Pros through consistent communication and proactive outreach
• Engage Pros regularly to gather documentation, share updates, and surface insights
• Partner closely with bookkeepers to ensure efficient and accurate completion of books
• Meet all month-end service delivery deadlines, including review and delivery of reconciled books
• Answer client questions on financial statement errors, chart of accounts cleanup, sales tax, A/P, A/R, and merchant services
