💼 About This Role

You'll own the API Management domain at Boomi, setting the GTM strategy and driving strategic platform-led deals. Your core impact will be enabling the field and bringing deep expertise to tier 1 APIM opportunities. This role completes the Domain Experts team as Boomi executes a $1B platform growth ambition.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead domain-led discovery and executive labs for strategic APIM opportunities
• Drive $300K+ ACV multi-product competitive displacement deals
• Define and operationalize 1-2 core APIM sales plays per quarter
• Enable and coach Sales, SEs, and Field Engineers on APIM narrative

📋 Requirements

• Proven background in API Management, integration, or adjacent domain in Sales Engineering or Pre-Sales
• Deep knowledge of the APIM market: key players, strengths/weaknesses, buying personas
• Hands-on familiarity with API gateway architectures, developer portals, and API lifecycle management
• Credible engagement with C-level buyers and technical architects

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Boomi's APIM products (Mashery, Apiida)
• Familiarity with competitive APIM vendors (Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure APIM, WSO2)
• Knowledge of API security trends and Agentic AI impact
