Description

You will perform inspection, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance on photovoltaic (PV) systems and related electrical equipment at utility-scale solar sites. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, testing, and repairing DC and AC components while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Active Journeyman Electrician License required
• 3+ years of utility-scale solar experience
• Experience working on megawatt-scale PV systems
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Working knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E safety standards

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of PV systems including wiring, combiner boxes, disconnects, and balance of system equipment
• Perform electrical testing including LOTO, insulation resistance (megger) testing, and IR thermography
• Support troubleshooting of solar system issues including string-level and system-level faults
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar power plant equipment
• Ensure all work is completed safely in compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards
