Description

You will provide outpatient physical therapy services to geriatric clients in senior living communities, helping them optimize function and independence through evidence-based interventions. You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, performing assessments, developing care plans, and educating clients and staff.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
• No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Make outpatient visits to clients in designated senior living communities
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements including mobility, range of motion, transfer status, balance, and safety assessments
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions
• Continually assess and revise the PT plan of care and participate in multidisciplinary care plan meetings
• Educate and instruct clients, family members, or community staff on therapy services and activities
