💼 About This Role

You'll build and scale monitoring and detection capabilities across Wayve's vehicle fleets, including R&D and robotaxi environments. You'll focus on vehicle-centric detection engineering and telemetry expansion for distributed, safety-critical systems while also contributing to IT and cloud security operations. This is a hands-on engineering role solving hard visibility problems in complex real-world systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and tune detections across R&D and robotaxi fleets.
• Onboard and utilize vehicle telemetry from onboard systems and edge compute.
• Contribute to monitoring and detection across cloud and IT environments.
• Investigate alerts and anomalies across fleet and supporting systems.

📋 Requirements

• Hands-on experience in security monitoring, detection engineering, or SOC environments
• Experience working with log data, SIEMs, or observability platforms
• Strong understanding of detection engineering and alert tuning
• Experience with distributed or non-traditional environments (IoT, OT, embedded systems, or edge compute)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with automotive, robotics, or fleet-based systems
• Familiarity with telemetry pipelines, streaming data, or large-scale logging systems
• Relevant certifications (GCIA, GCIH, GCED, GICSP)
