Description

As a Staff AI Engineer at Bluefish, you'll lead the architecture and execution of our LLM-powered data platform for marketing and advertising. You'll own critical decisions on data pipelines, model deployment, and evals, while mentoring engineers and driving cross-team initiatives to deliver scalable AI products for Fortune 500 customers.

Requirements

• 8+ years building production data systems with cross-cutting architectural changes and LLM deployment at scale
• Deep experience in Python and modern service architectures, strong system design and data modeling
• Experience training and deploying ML models, especially NLP/LLM
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure
• Fluency in operational maturity (SLOs, on-call, observability)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture for data platforms and pipelines (scraping, transformation, storage, ML/LLM integration)
• Scale pipelines incrementally, designing rollout plans and quality metrics
• Translate business goals into actionable data products via RFCs and project roadmaps
• Establish engineering standards for testing, evals, observability, and security
• Mentor senior engineers and lead architecture reviews to uplevel the org
