Description

You will design, write, and support open source libraries for the JavaScript ecosystem used by MongoDB developers. You'll maintain and build features for the MongoDB Node.js Driver and contribute to AI/ML integrations while collaborating with a distributed engineering team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience writing high-quality software
• Significant experience with JavaScript/TypeScript on the backend
• Experience with databases (relational or non-relational)
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Interest in open source software development and communities

Responsibilities

• Maintain and build features for the MongoDB Node.js Driver and its native C++ addons
• Contribute to JavaScript open source client libraries and MongoDB AI/ML integrations
• Contribute to common driver specifications supporting full range of MongoDB features
• Investigate bugs and support requests from commercial customers and open source users
• Collaborate closely with peers in a distributed worldwide engineering team
